About Me
I am 62 and I didn't rescue my first pigeon in 1999 when I was 50...that was the year I developed "pigeon conciousness" . This is when you suddenly notice the pigeons around you, start to recognise individuals and to identify the ones that need your help because they are ill, injured or just too young to look after themselves. Until then I knew so little about pigeons that It wasn't until a few years later that I realised that my first rescue (which I released) had actually been a juvenile stock dove! Hello Cynthia, thanks for the message. Can you send me a photo of your aviary if possible. The trouble is I also get about 50-100 pigeons visiting my back garden most days. I'm a bit of a soft touch and feel sorry for them. I didn't know anything about pigeons before we rescued them. If you hear about anyone e who can take care of any of my 3 pigeons let me know please.
